Penarth Pavilion Project
Come and visit
The Penarth Pier Pavilion Project visual display exhibition is
moving to a new location at the Penarth Town Council Offices, West
House, Stanwell Road.
This exciting venture will be available to view from Tuesday
26th June and will be open to the general public during business
hours.
Your ideas
Feedback forms accompany the display and Penarth Arts &
Crafts Ltd (PACL) are eager to hear from the local community
regarding their ideas for the Pavilion.
Uses
The display demonstrates various uses within an
environmentally-friendly design, drawing on natural resources for
power. It illustrates the educational prospects and a detailed
historical background of one of Penarth’s most prominent features.
Information on the Vale of Glamorgan Council (the owner of the
building) as well as some of its other projects is included.
Accessibility
PACL will move the Visual Display Exhibition to other venues
outside of Penarth to encourage a wider selection of residents from
the Vale of Glamorgan to become involved and express their hopes
for the developing project.
The exhibition was previously displayed at the Washington
Gallery and generated much feedback with many demonstrating their
support verbally and in writing. All of the feedback forms are
viewed and members of the Pavilion mailing database are
regularly updated.
