Artasia
What is it?
An initiative to get more people involved in the creative Arts.
Artasia strives to engage local arts professionals to deliver
multi-cultural workshops with the community, in a variety of arts
mediums.
Examples activities
Over the years have included:
- mosaics
- batik
- jewellery making
- glass painting
- recycled art
- mask and puppet making
Free workshops
Are a key part of the Council's presence at:
- The Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural
Show Ffonmon Castle (each August)
- The Barry Waterfront Festival (every
September)
