Fitness Classes
We offer a range of fitness classes in our Leisure Centres,
suitable for all ages and sizes, from 'teen circuits' through to
our 'young at heart' class. Classes may change at short notice and
we recommend that you call the individual Leisure Centres in
advance to check times.
*Sports hall flooring being resurfaced*
Please note that, due to work being carried out to resurface the
sports hall flooring, there won't be any 'dry' fitness classes
at Barry Leisure Centre between Monday, 15 December and Sunday, 4
January 2009. The only fitness classes that will be held during
this time will be the pool-based ones - aqua natal and aqua
aerobics. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

toning your muscles.
Burn off plenty of calories in this dynamic
cardiovascular workout for all-round fitness and body toning.
Designed for children aged five to seven years-old. A really fun
class which will also improve agility, strength, balance and social
skills.
A total body workout for all levels. Split into four
sections - step, cardio combat, free weights and aerobics.
This class is guaranteed to burn fat, tone, build strength and

A gentle exercise class that will leave you feeling refreshed

An all-round fitness training session for 12 to 16
year-olds.
Increase your flexibilty and relax your tired muscles with this
enjoyable class.
These sessions make you healthy while relieving stress by
incorporating postures, breathing techniques and relaxation
exercises.
A gentle low impact fun aerobics class for the over 60s.
Also suitable for anyone wishing to get back into fitness following
illness etc.
