History

The Welsh Karate Federation was formed as a representative body for all the Karate Clubs in Wales. From this emerged the Welsh Karate Governing Body, recognised by the Welsh Sports Council for Wales as the only Governing Body for Karate in Wales. Lee was involved from the start with the process.

Lee organised the first competition tournaments for Karate in Wales, before going on to become the Team Manager for the Welsh Juniors National Squad. Lee has also worked with the Governing Body Technical Committee to ensure that standards for safety and technique in Karate are maintained at a high level in Wales.
