Meet Joanne
Play Development Officer
Joanne has worked in play for over 18 years. Jo started her
career with under 4s and progressed to SaturdayAfter
School clubs.
Prior to joining the Vale Jo worked at
the Cardiff Council Play Department. Jo then became the Play
Research Development Officer, researching children’s play and
developing small grants.

Jo's qualifications include:
- working with children with special needs.
- Play work NVQ level 3.
- Nebs Management certificate.
- Sign language level 1.
- Training for trainers.
- Play-work level 4 Newport College Higher Education.
