Dragon Sport Volunteers

Why volunteer?

Volunteers are integral to the successful running of Dragon Sport. We need parents, grandparents, teachers and students to get active and get involved!

Dragon Sport trainingIdeas

  • provide transport
  • help out at a session
  • wash the kit
  • look after the money
  • help with the general paperwork
  • support the Club
  • become a team Manager or referee

What’s the next step?

  • ask the Club coach what help's needed.
  • ask the volunteer Manager what help is required.
  • attend a Dragon Sport Organiser course.
  • contact your Dragon Sport Coordinator for advice.

What might I achieve?

A feeling of self worth, a recognised qualification and eternal thanks from other members of the committee!

Free Dragon Sport Organiser Course

A comprehensive course covering all aspects of the Dragon Sport scheme including the use of resource cards for fun, safe and inclusive delivery.

After attending the course you can access funding to attend further training e.g. child protection courses or a leaders or level 1 Award for your National Governing Body.
