Peter Harrison Foundation
A nationwide programme
Applications are accepted from charities in the UK. The Trustees
wish to support sporting activities or projects that provide
opportunities for people who are disabled or otherwise
disadvantaged to fulfil their potential and develop other
personal/life skills.
Grants
Will often be 'one off' grants for capital projects, they also
consider revenue funding for a new project or if funding is key to
the continued success of a project.
Trustees welcome applications for projects that:
- Provide a focus for skills development.
- Have a strong educational sporting theme.
- Provide sporting equipment or facilities for disabled or
disadvantaged people.
- Offer a high degree of community involvement.
- Help to engage children or young people at risk of crime,
truancy or addiction.
- Build confidence through the medium of sport.
