The Spectacular
These 2-day events take place yearly in June and July
at the National Indoor Athletics Centre in Cardiff.
It showcases over 15 different sports for children/adults
with disabilities. All sports have local exit routes for
participants to take up sport at club level.
The Spectacular is also used as a talent identification
opportunity to Federation of Disability Sport Wales (FDSW) and
Disability Sport Wales (DSW).
This year the event ran from Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June,
2009 between 10am and 4pm.
Events include:
Boccia, Athletics, Cycling, Hockey, Football, Rugby, Cricket,
Kurling, Climbing, Archery, Rowing, Bowls, Table Tennis, Badminton
and Tennis.
