Junior free swimming at weekends and during school holidays!

At certain times during school holidays and on weekends, all youngsters aged under 16 can take advantage of the Welsh Government's free swimming initiative at our Leisure Centres.

Each school holiday, look out for the free swimming times that will be published in our activity programmes and online. While on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, under 16s can now swim for free at the following times:

Barry Leisure Centre: 12pm – 1pm

Penarth Leisure Centre: 1pm – 2pm

Llantwit Major Leisure Centre: 1pm – 3pm

And free swimming for over-60s

If you are aged over 60, why not take advantage of free swimming (not during school holidays) at our pools in Penarth, Barry and Llantwit Major? If you're over 60 simply take along proof of age and register at one of the above Leisure Centres. Over 60s can also enjoy FREE swimming lessons too.
