Welsh team’s trophies
cause scrum at Barry RFC
There was a massive scrum at a presentation morning for young
players at Barry Rugby Club after the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s
rugby development officer Matt Silva turned up with two special
guests.
The mini and junior players went crazy when they saw that Matt
had brought Wales’ Triple Crown and RBS Six Nations trophies with
him, and the children were all keen to get their hands on the
prized pieces of silverware!
Matt said: “The trophies have been touring the country, and this
was an amazing chance for young rugby fans in Barry to get up close
to see them and get some priceless photos taken with the
trophies.”
