Follow the Olympic flame
The London 2012 Olympic Torch relay will be coming through Dinas
Powys, Barry and Barry Island on Saturday 26 may, and the exact
route that the flame will take in the Vale of Glamorgan has now
been revealed. Find out more.

Four Vale athletes selected
Teen swimming star Ieuan Lloyd, sailor Hannah Mills, boxer
Andrew Selby and swimming hero David Davies have become the
first Vale athletes to be officially selected for Team GB at the
London 2012 Olympics.
We'll keep you posted as further Vale athletes are selected.

Don't just watch the sports...
At the London 2012 Olympic Games there will be a total of 26
different sports, all broken down into 39 disciplines (e.g. road
cycling, track cycling), while the Paralympics will feature 21
disciplines.
In the Vale you can play 22 of these sports at local clubs,
ranging from badminton to boccia and table tennis to taekwondo.
