What Dragon Sport involves

 

The Dragon Sport Co-ordinator will provide/run:

  • equipment bags and resource cards.
  • Dragon Sport Organisers training opportunities
  • organisers to attend NGB Next Step courses.
  • meetings to share best practice.
  • appropriate promotional material.
  • support for organisers/volunteers with mentoring.
  • template forms e.g. registers and parental consent.
  • Dragon Sport Festivals, Open Days, taster sessions.
  • appropriate information about Health & Safety, Child Protection and insurance complies with school, Local Authority and Governing Body policies.
  • access to good practice about fair play, inclusion, development, grants, etc.

Clause

The Co-odinator will exercise their right to reclaim resources and equipment if the terms of the agreement are not abided by.

 

 

The Dragon Sport Club will agree to promote/run/use:

  • equipment appropriately, storing it safely and replace any that's lost stolen or damaged.
  • encourage organisers to attend Dragon Sport training
  • meeting attendance.
  • share best practice.
  • Dragon Sport to all children regardless of ability
  • use newsletters and websites.
  • Dragon Sports for at least 6 weeks a year.
  • maintain a register at all Dragon Sport activities.
  • Ensure parental consent forms have been completed.
  • Provide information required by Dragon Sport.
  • Dragon Sport events and support children attending.
  • Health & Safety risk assessments, First Aid procedures, accident and incident reporting have been clarified and carried out prior to each session.
  • Promote fair play, inclusive activities and good practice
  • Ensure all volunteers sign and abide by the Chwarae-Teg Code of Conduct.
  • Return resources and equipment if the terms of this agreement are not abided by.
