Teachers
Every one of our libraries aims to work in
partnership with local schools and teachers. There are many ways we
can help, from providing valuable resources to offering class
visits.
Teachers can take out their own library
ticket. This entitles them to borrow up to 15 items at a time, for
an extended loan period of six weeks. There are also class
tickets available, enabling teachers to take out books with their
class on one ticket.
Teachers and parents may be interested in this
website recommended to the library, Homework Focus enables a
student to block distracting websites, games and email and still
research for homework. It encourages students to plan their time on
the computer by using reminders.
