Free access to the 1911 Census via Findmypast.co.uk

People tracing their family history can now access the 1911
census for free at the Vale of Glamorgan Libraries. The census is a
record of everyone living in Wales and England in 1911 and is a key
resource for those exploring their past. The census can be accessed
via the findmypast.co.uk website.
From 1st March 2011 free access to findmypast.co.uk will
replace free access to Ancestry in the Vale of Glamorgan Libraries.
This is due to a decision by the National Library, which buys these
resources on behalf of public libraries in Wales.
