Oxford Language Dictionaries Online
The OLDO comes with
audio pronunciations and many other language learning and usage
tools such as calendars of festivals and holidays, culture and
grammar notes, lists of useful web links, plus hundreds of
correspondence templates including sample letters, emails, and CVs
and résumés to provide practical help with writing. The OLDO is a
subscription service so not freely available to everyone on line
but Vale of Glamorgan Library members are able to access the OLDO
using the number printed on their library card. N.B. People using a
library PC will not need to type in their number but should be
taken straight into the OLDO homepage. The OLDO can normally be
accessed via the 24 Hour Library .
