Rhoose Library
A small
but busy, bright
and pleasant library
with accessible toilet and baby
changing facilities and recently
resurfaced car park.
Accessibility
The small car park has a designated disabled parking
bay. Access to the building is via automatic doors (using a push
pad) and there is a sharp turn right inside a small
foyer area. A hearing loop is installed at the library.
What we've got to offer
Rhoose is the largest of the village branches in the Vale. The
library is well used by the community and by children from Rhws
Primary School next door. There are 4 PCs connected to the internet
and A4 photocopying facilities.
Clap and Tap sessions are organised for pre-school children and
a Saturday Book Club for older children.
A Reading Group for adults also meets in the library.
Sale of Withdrawn Library Books
Rhoose Library holds two Big Book Sales every year selling off
old library stock. It's a good place to pick up a paperback for
your holiday or some bedtime stories for your children - and
lots more besides.

Rhoose Readers
Have you ever considered belonging to a Reading Group? Rhoose
Readers have been meeting in the library every four weeks on
Monday evenings for nearly two years and are very welcoming to
new members. Here are three good reasons to join:
- An opportunity to meet others
- A chance to share and to talk about books and reading
- A prospect of trying authors and books you might normally
overlook
Read our most recent Readers' Group report.
Junior Book Club
Are your children aged 7-11? Do they enjoy reading and
talking about the books they've read?
Once a month on a Saturday afternoon our Book Club meets to do
just that.
