Who can have an allotment?

Anyone who lives in the Vale of may apply for a maximum of two plots on any of our Council run allotment sites. Waiting times depend on the site, but it could be a matter of months or even years. When you contact us about a specific site we should be able to give you a better indication of the expected waiting time.

What can you use the allotments for?

You can use the plot to grow vegetables or flowers and even to keep hens (but not cockerels), and other limited livestock. Although for livestock you must contact us to gain permission.
