Victoria Park
Victoria Park is a classic historic park
tucked away in Cadoxton on the eastern side of Barry. It
offers a unique blend of traditional and modern features and
planting within its 6.5 acre grounds.
To the south and east it overlooks
Barry Docks and Barry Island, with fine views across the Bristol
Channel to the Somerset coast.
The park is
roughly diamond-shaped, and has a southerly aspect, with its
highest point at the main entrance adjacent to Seaview
Terrace.
The park is securely fenced with
ornamental railings to an original design.
Within the park are a bowling green,
bandstand, extensive play area, multi sports court, parks office
and community room, public toilet, seating areas, shelter, formal
bedding and shrub borders.
