Penarth
Garden by the sea
Only a few miles from Cardiff, Penarth is one of those superbly
elegant Victorian towns that has retained its heritage, yet still
supplies today’s modern visitors with all they would expect.
Simply charming!
The town centre has charm and elegance, with superb parks and
gardens, a range of stores, gift shops and galleries.
Seaside
Penarth seafront with its impressive pier is the perfect place
to sit and breathe the fresh, salty air. From the Esplanade you can
enjoy panoramic views across the Bristol Channel to the islands of
Flat Holm and Steep Holm and further still to Somerset.
Greenery
Parks and gardens link Penarth’s seafront and town. Overlooking
the Esplanade are the impressive Italian Gardens while Windsor
Gardens and Alexander Park offer an inviting combination of winding
pathways, quiet corners and landscaped areas.
