By Air

By Bus

National Express provides a nationwide network of express bus services. For further information contact 08705 808080 or visit www.nationalexpress.com. For local bus routes contact traveline cymru on 0871 200 22 33.

 

By Train

A new rail link connects the airport with routes along the Vale's coast to Llantwit Major, Barry and Penarth. If you are coming from elsewhere in Britain you can take trains to the Vale via Bridgend (if coming from the west) or Cardiff Central (if coming from the east / north). By Car

If you'd prefer to visit the Vale by car then take the M4 and exit at junctions 33, 34 or 35, depending on which part of the county you would like to visit. Junction 33 is the quickest exit to take if you are visiting Barry or Penarth.

 

By Sea

If you are travelling from Ireland, then a number of ferry operators provide services across the Irish Sea to Wales, including Irish Ferries and Stenaline.
