Llantwit Major and the Heritage Coast

At the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan is a 14-mile stretch of protected coastline which was awarded Heritage Coast status in 1972.

It's one of the most spectacular coastlines in the UK, and the main town along this stretch of coast is ancient Llantwit Major.
