Howard Marks: An Audience With Mr Nice

Memorial Hall and Theatre, Barry
Howard Marks, writer of the best-selling autobiography, Mr Nice,
performs his critically acclaimed one-man show.
Marks once assisted and worked with the British Secret Service
and has been connected with the Mafia, the IRA, MI6 and the CIA.
The film about his life, starring Rhys Ifans, was a cinema box
office smash in 2010. Now the stage show is once again
selling out in venues UK-wide, with Marks' spellbinding and
hilarious life story.

London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay and
Celebrations
Sat 26 May, From 7am
Dinas Powys, Barry and Barry Island
A once in a lifetime chance to line the streets and welcome the
Olympic flame as it makes its way through the Vale of Glamorgan.
Torchbearers will run through Dinas Powys between
7am and 7:10am, while the relay will continue through Barry
and Barry Island between 7:16am and 8:47am. Following the
torch relay a free Beach Sports Party will be held on Barry Island
(9am-2pm), where you can see some sporty demonstrations and have a
go at Olympic sports, including beach vollyball, wheelchair
basketball and freestyle street football. Zumba taster class along
the promenade at 2pm. Further Olympic sports will also be on offer
at King Square, Barry town centre, 9am-12pm. For more details on

Art4U Drum and Percussion Workshop

restored bandstand, and have a go at drum and percussion with some
talented players. If you have your own drum or percussion
instrument then bring it along and join in.

Eurovision Evening
