Centre of excellence
St Donats Arts Centre is a publicly funded centre of excellence
for arts and education in Wales, offering the Vale and its
community a high-quality professional arts programme in a unique
setting.
A stunning building
A 14th Century Tythe Barn converted into a professionally
equipped theatre, contrasts with the newly completed Glass Room
that offers stunning views across the sea. With
aspect towards the Exmoor hills, this creates one of the
most inspired and inspiring public buildings in Wales.
Summer programme
The summer programme complements the popular seasonal
programmes that run throughout autumn and
spring. It includes world music events, children’s
theatre, jazz in the glassroom, workshops and cinema.
