Barry's all weather attraction for families, school groups and rail enthusiasts. Trains run on scheduled dates from Easter until Christmas, including special events. The route operated is between Barry Island and The Waterfront at Barry.

 

Station Cafe

A new station cafe at Barry Island will be open from Easter. Normal opening hours will be Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm, plus Saturdays and Sundays when trains are running. From Easter it will be possible to purchase your tickets for the tourist railway from the station cafe .

Open: 2012 schedule.

Parking: Free parking available at the Waterfront Station, Hood Road.

Charges: Tickets for normal running days are £5 adults, £3 children, £12 family (2 adults and 2 children).

Tickets for event days vary according to the nature of the event. Santa Special ticket prices to be announced.

Disability details: Most of the site is accessible with assistance.

Road: Exit junction 33 of the M4 Motorway, onto the A4232 and A4050 (signposted Barry). The Waterfront Station is located at the Goods Shed, near to Barry Waterfront.
