Amelia Trust Farm

 

Livestock, play area and nature walks

Set on a 160 acre lowland farm in the middle of the Vale of Glamorgan we are a working farm with a variety of livestock. Visitors are welcome to explore the farm, surrounding play areas and nature walks. We also have a self-catering bunkhouse for those who wish to make a longer stay.

Other information

Open: Daily, from dawn until dusk. The visitor centre / coffee shop is generally open Mon - Fri 10am - 3.30pm, Sat 10.30am - 4pm and Sun 2pm - 4pm.

Parking: parking available

Charges: Free entry for individuals, however, visitors are asked to leave a donation in one of the boxes on their way out. A small charge is made for groups of more than 12. Groups are required to book in advance.

Accessibility:Some disabled parking near the main farm gate, ramped access to the visitor and animal centre. Disabled toilets. One woodland trail suitable for wheelchairs. Limited mobility scooters available. 

 

Location

Road: Exit junction 33 of M4, follow signs for Culverhouse Cross. At Culverhouse Cross roundabout take A48 signposted Cowbridge. Go through St Nicholas and then take A4226 signposted Barry. The farm is one and a half miles on the right.
