Of woods and meadowland in a sheltered valley leading to a pebble beach and spectacular cliffs. Nature trails, picnic sites, café, play area, barbecue area and mini golf course.

 

Picnics

Picnic tables and benches are situated a short distance from the main car park.

 

Barbecues

Two BBQ units are located on the main meadow, a small BBQ caters for up to 30 people and a larger BBQ caters for up to 100 people.

Charges: £16 small BBQ, £32 large BBQ, plus £20 deposit.

Forest Cafe

With a large decked area enjoying wonderful sea views the cafe serves breakfast, light bites, lunches, afternoon teas, ice creams and more!

Play Area

An adventure playground, adjacent to the main car park, has a range of climbing equipment based on a nautical theme.

 

12 hole Golf Course

Open: 11am - 4.30pm (weather dependant).

Charges: adult £3.20, children/concessions £2.10, family £9.

Road: Exit junction 33 of M4, onto A4232 and A4050 to Barry. Signs to Cardiff Airport 2nd roundabout left, Pontypridd Rd. Next roundabout 2nd exit, Park Crescent. At roundabout take 4th exit into Park Road and follow signs.

Charges: Entry to the park is free; £2.50 charge for car parking on Sundays and bank holidays from Easter until the end of September.
