Porthkerry Country ParkPorthkerry Country Park

Porthkerry Country Park, on the western side of Barry, lies in a fine natural valley with 200 acres of woods, meadows and nature trails leading down to a pebble beach.

The park is noted for its imposing viaduct, built at the end of the 19th century by the Vale of Glamorgan Railway Company.

There are miles of tracks and paths to allow you to explore and the 'Millennium Heritage Trail' long distance footpath wends its way through the park.
