Where are we?
The Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales is really easy to get
to...
By Air
Cardiff Airport is in the Vale. Find out about flights at
www.tbicardiffairport.com/en/,
and once you are here you can go green by connecting to excellent
public transport links.
By Train
A new rail link connects the airport with routes along the
Vale's coast to Llantwit Major, Barry and Penarth. If you are
coming from elsewhere in Britain you can take trains to the Vale
via Bridgend (if coming from the west) or Cardiff Central (if
coming from the east / north). Further details can be found online
at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
or by calling 08457 484950 (local call rates apply).
By Coach
Local bus services can get you right across the Vale,
while National Express
provides a UK-wide network of express bus services.
By Sea
If you are travelling from Ireland, then a number of ferry
operators provide services across the Irish Sea to Wales, including
Irish
Ferries and Stenaline.
By Car
If you'd prefer to visit the Vale by car then take the M4 and
exit at junctions 33, 34 or 35, depending on which part of the
county you would like to visit. Junction 33 is the quickest exit to
take if you are visiting Barry or Penarth.
