Dog fouling - help us stamp it out in the Vale

The Vale of Glamorgan Council is responsible for clearing dog fouling on Council Land i.e. parks, pavements, roads, lanes etc.

The clearing of animal fouling takes high priority in the Council, and we will aim to pick up the waste as soon as possible, when a member of the public reports such an incident.

Under the Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996, it is an offence for dog owners not to remove any feaces deposited by their dogs and our Enforcement Officers have the power to prosecute offenders.
