It is illegal for any member of the public to attach any type of sign to the adopted highway, including birthday signs etc.

The Council take the posting of illegal signs on the public highway very seriously as it has a detrimental impact on the impression of the area.

In all cases the Council will pursue the case of illegal signs on public land to have them removed by the person responsible for erecting them.
