The Vale Biodiversity Partnership


Choughs by Paul RobertsThe Vale Biodiversity Partnership is a large network including representatives from over 40 local organisations, including government and non-government wildlife bodies, voluntary groups, local businesses, as well as farmers, landowners and individuals - all working together to safeguard the Vale’s biodiversity.

Steering Group

A smaller subset of the partnership, the Vale LBAP steering group, meets every two months to steer the LBAP and its implementation. The Vale LBAP steering group and partnership is chaired by Steve White who represents the Graig and Penllyn Residents Association and manages the Parish Field hay meadow restoration project. Secretariat support to the partnership and steering group is provided by the Vale of Glamorgan Council Ecology Team (Kate Pryor, Ecologist and Richard May, Assistant Ecologist).
