Porthkerry Country Park is situated a mile west of the town of Barry on the Bristol Channel Coast. 

 

The park has extensive woodlands, access to the beach, open spaces, a varied wildlife and a rich history.

 

Facilities

Facilities at the park include car parking, 18 hole pitch and putt, a barbecue site, a picnic site, a cafe, an adventure playground, toilets and a ranger service.

 

Opening Hours

Park: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Cafe: From Easter end of September

Pitch and Putt: From Easter - end of September

 

Charges

Car Parking: £2/day on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Free at all other times

Pitch and Putt: Adults £3.00 / Juniors, OAPs and Concessions £2.00 / Family £8.00

BBQ Site: £10

 

Access

Access is via Park Road in the West End suburbs of Barry. The nearest railway station is Barry Station, about 15 minutes walk from the park.

Wheelchair access to the toilets and cafe.
