Volunteers
The park has an active volunteer programme and works closely
with a number of groups and individuals.
Some recent projects have included...
- Taking part in regular work parties on Wednesdays, in
partnership with the NHS - congratulations to this group for
coming third in this years Biodiversity Awards
- Eleven members of the Vale Volunteer Bureau spent the
day improving a log circle and den making area and later
roasted marshmallows in celebration of a project well done....
- Practical conservation projects throughout the park with the
ranger service through regular volunteer sessions, twice monthly on
Sunday mornings.

wildlife of the park, meet some new people, get active and have a

All work parties start at 10am at the
golf hut and finish at 12.30pm.
