Petlog launches National Microchipping Month

Update your Petlog details for free this June

A well microchipped pet population veterinary surgeons means quicker and easier reunifications between lost pets and their owners.

In its fifteen years of operation however, Petlog has realised that too many people have out of date information, slowing and complicating the reunification process and wasting time.

Petlog is allowing people registered with Petlog to go online and update their contact details for free in June, or upgrade to Petlog Premium for a reduced cost if they are already on the Petlog database.

Celia Walsom, Petlog Executive said: "Research has shown that microchips are a hugely successful tool in the reuniting of lost pets, they provide quick and easy access to contact details, saving time and resources and minimising the stress on both the owner and the pet. At Petlog we understand the importance of a robust database, and are always looking to improve - we feel this campaign will benefit all and encourage all databases to follow our lead."
