What can we treat?
We provide a comprehensive pest control service to
householders and aim to respond to service requests within 5
working days. We will give priority to customers who have
either rats in living areas or bedbugs.

household/garden pests, but we offer information about them and
advice on how to deal with them:
We charge commercial premises for all pest control
treaments.
Our Staff
We employ three full time pest control operatives. They are well
trained to Royal Society of Health Standards and attend regular
courses to keep them up to date on the latest pest control
technology. They have many years of experience and we aim to
provide a service of the highest quality.
Our Service Aim
We aim to control specified carriers of disease and illness in
the community by dealing effectively and promptly with reports of
rats, mice and other pests.
To achieve this aim we:
- Carry out free treatments for rats (inside), mice, bedbugs and
cockroaches on demand by residents in domestic premises
- Provide cost-effective treatments on demand to residents in
domestic premises for pests of public health significance, rats
(outside) and other pests
- Provide on demand at reasonable and competitive costs a service
for the control of rats, mice, insects and other pests in
commercial premises
- To use environmentally friendly, safe pesticides
- Provide an identification service for insect pests and give
advice on their control. You will need to send or bring in a sample
of the pest to the Civic Offices in a secure container. If you post
the pest use a strong, protective container remember the insects
must be dead. Under certain circumstances it may be possible for us
to identify pests in your home.

rats in partnership with Hyder (Water Authority)
