Summer of Fun
Parties, especially outdoors, can be a great way of relaxing,
socialising and catching up with family and friends. Just bear the
following in mind when the party gets into full swing:
- If you are planning to have a barbecue, let your neighbours
know about it – maybe you could even invite them!
- If you are playing music inside or outside your house, keep the
volume down! Not everyone has the same taste in music
- If you stay out in the garden, remember that noise travels…
especially at night-time. It may be a good idea to keep your voices
down or maybe even go inside
- Bass or low frequency music travels a long distance and is
difficult to reduce, so remember to switch off the extra bass
system if you have one
- People tend to have their windows open in the summer – remember
that noises can be heard easier than you think
