Bathing Waters

 

Every summer between May and September the Vale of Glamorgan Council and the Environment Agency Wales monitor the quality of bathing waters in the Vale.

Sea waters at Barry, Llantwit Major, Southerndown and Ogmore are sampled on a weekly basis.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan sample the Non-Designated Bathing Waters at the following beaches:

 

The Environment Agency Wales sample the Designated Bathing Waters at the following beaches:

The Environment Agency also sample the Non-Designated Bathing Waters at

Watchouse Bay.
