Insulation Projects
It is likely that until April 2007 Domestic
& General Insulation Ltd will still be working on a scheme to
insulate all local authority domestic properties within the Vale of
Glamorgan.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has provided
Domestic & General Insulation Ltd with a letter of introduction
to private residents while they are working on the Vale of
Glamorgan Council scheme.
There is some financial assistance via energy utility
providers for insulation measures for all householders although the
amount will depend on personal circumstances, but the situation is
changing from month to month and so it is not possible to publish
any firm guidance on grant levels. Domestic & General
Insulation Ltd can inform householders of what grants are available
but the Vale of Glamorgan Council recommends that householders
“shop around” by contacting the range of utility providers to check
that they are getting the best deal available at any time.

21 years or are over 60 please note the HEES grant assistance grant
