Bins for community events
Planning an event?
Such as a village fete or a sports day? We can provide you
with recycling and litter bins. Delivering bins to your
event site and collecting them the next day. We recommend that you
have recycling bins next to each general litter bin.
Community 'Clean up' campaigns
If you are organising a clean up campaign for your local beach
or park, we can also provide you with bags and litter pickers for
your clean up campaign, and collect the bags after your clean up.
We're also interested in perhaps publicising your hard
efforts!

Please print off the relevant form and return it using the
address on the form; we will contact you shortly before your
event.

Organisations, groups and schools involved in clean up campaigns
- or at the start of an environmental improvement project - can
request materials to help remove litter and refuse from land.
Materials must be used on projects that benefit
the community and are not for use by individuals, businesses or
schools for clearing the litter and refuse they are normally
responsible for moving. They are not for use on land that
the public have no access to.

Voluntary groups / charities can apply for an event bin to
support fundraising activities and ensure correct waste management
practices. You may well be able to recycle some of the waste
collected, especially drink cans!
Important: Bins are not for use by traders (who
should use commercial waste sacks).
