Disposing household items

We provide a free collection of bulky household items. Please telephone 01446 700111 to arrange your collection

 

Remember

You need to place your item out kerbside no later than 7am on your assigned date and we can collect up to five items on one visit.

 

Donate?

Everything we collect is sent to landfill, if your items are of good quality you may want to consider donating them to family, friends, neighbours or a local charity/community group.

 

We can collect:

  • Beds and sofas
  • Tables and chairs
  • Wardrobes
  • Cookers and dishwashers
  • Fridge freezers, tumble dryers and washing machines

Building work!

Please be aware traders e.g. plumbers/builders, etc. are responsible for disposing of waste produced when they carry out work for you. It is your legal responsibly to ensure that they do so.

 

We can't collect:

 
Asbestos Baths
Bricks/rubble Car batteries
Cement Fencing
Doors (internal/external) Kitchen units or worktops
Gates Guttering
Pipes Plaster
Sheds Sinks
Toilets Windows

 

Instead

You may wish to source skip hire and waste disposal contractors for the above items. Alternatively, they can be taken to our recycling centres at Hayes Road Sully or Llandow Trading Estate. Vans and trailers will need a permit to enter the sites; please contact us to arrange this.
