Waste management strategy
Overview
Managing municipal waste is one of the most important and
challenging environmental issues facing Wales.
Every local authority has their own plan on
meeting waste reduction and recycling targets,
established by national policy documents.
Our strategy
Looks at how how much waste is being produced and how we
intend to reduce and recycle it. We explain how we will fight
litter problems and deal with related environmental issues.
Participation
An important aspect of our strategy is outlining how everyone
can participate in developing and implementing the strategy; we
cannot achieve these goals alone.
