What a waste!
Waste represents a cost to business including:
- disposal charges
- wasted raw materials
- staff time in handling it.
The best option is of course not to produce waste in the first
place. Reducing your waste will save your business time and
money.
Legal requirement
Businesses have a legal obligation to ensure commercial
waste is disposed of and recorded properly. As a business
you could be fined if legislation is not adhered to.
Help is at hand
We offer an excellent kerbside recycling collection service to
you as a Vale business to ensure your obligations
are met under environmental legislation. Several private sector
companies offer waste disposal services in the area and
businesses have the choice of whom to use.
Residual waste
A basic residual waste collection service is
available (although this is the most expensive option for your
business, and the least environmentally friendly). Think
ethically and consider reducing your waste and recycling before you
use this service.
