Cash incentive for local businesses to open their 
toilets to
the public
Vale businesses may apply for a one-off grant of up to
£500; for help to open their toilets to the public.
Joint initiative
A partnership between the Vale of Glamorgan Council and the
Welsh Government.
To qualify
Any commercial toilet facility must have provision for males and
females and access for those with disabilities. All businesses must
publicise the availability of toilet facilities and their opening
hours on the outside of the premises.
If local businesses are successful in a grant
application, they may receive financial support to open their
toilet facilities to the public, this may entice new customers to
their premises.
Applications
Expressions of interest are welcomed
from businesses. They should outline details of
their toilet provision, and be aware that facilities will be
inspected before a decision is made.
