Tips
For successful composting:
- Place your composter on soil to allow worms to wiggle in!
- Site it in a sunny spot.
- Regularly stir with a stick or garden fork to ventilate.
- Don't fill it more than 80%
- Why not keep a handy container such as an old ice cream tub (pierce with a few holes in the lid), or buy a special kitchen caddy? This will help reduce trips from the kitchen to the garden and ensure you compost more!
- Chop chunky and large items into smaller pieces
