Flytipping
Fly tipping is a priority within the Council and the Vale has a
team of three Enforcement Officers who deal with serious cases of
fly tipping.
Every day we receive calls about illegally tipped waste in
lanes, car parks and lay-bys. This waste is a severe form of
pollution, which is not only illegal and dangerous but is also
extremely expensive to remove.
Waste is cleared as quickly as possible in many cases, although
ownership of the land and type of tipping are just 2 of the
variables that determine the action taken by the Council.
Fly tipping offenders will be prosecuted and
issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.
Please note that this form should only be used
to report non emergencies. If you feel that the flytipping is
dangerous, please Contact OneVale, our 24 hour helpline, on
01446 70011.
In order to ensure that we fully investigate
this reported issue, please can you provide us with the exact
location of the incident, and any further information that you may
help with this enquiry.
