Kitchen Waste Recycling
Please put your food waste out every week
Your kit includes a kitchen recycling caddy, a
lockable roadside caddy and a roll of biodegradable
bags. Search
for your dates here.
Watch a three-minute video to learn more about the food waste
recycling process.
Being part of the scheme allows you to:
- review food buying habits; you can perhaps save
money
- have a caddy with a lockable lid; discouraging scavenging
animals
- contribute to recycling more, meeting Vale targets and avoiding
fines
- help create a better environment; sending less to landfill
and avoiding generating more harmful gases like methane
- be creative with your cooking to reduce waste
- to feel good about making a difference
What can be added to your collections
