Collect your FREE wood chippings and logs
The Council's Parks and Grounds Maintenance
section is offering wood chipping and logs from its
arboricultural works to Vale residents, free of charge! The
chipping is suitable for use as garden mulches and the log pile
contains various sizes of logs.
The logs or the wood chippings can be collected at the Court Rd
Depot on Barry Road, Barry at the last Sunday of each month,
between 10am and 2pm, as follows:
- Sunday 27th July
- Sunday 31st August
- Sunday 28th September
- Sunday 26th October
- Sunday 30th November
Collection
Please note that you will need your own suitable containers and
will also have to wear protective gloves and footwear when
collecting the logs and chippings.
