Collect FREE wood chippings and logs - last Sunday of every month from January until November

Our parks and grounds maintenance division is offering wood chipping and logs from our arboricultural works to Vale residents, free of charge.

Chippings are suitable for use as garden mulch and the log pile contains various sizes of logs.

Collection dates

Logs and chippings may be collected from the Court Rd Depot, Barry Road (click here for directions) on the last Sunday of each month, between 10am - 2pm only.

Safety first

You will need your own suitable containers and will also have to wear protective gloves and footwear when collecting the logs and chippings.
