Electrical Waste and Electronic Equipment
As a Vale resident
You can recycle the following electrical items at our
household recycling centres in Sully and Llandow, the different
types are:
- Kitchen appliances: cooker, washing
machine, microwave, tumble dryer, dishwasher, electric stove,
electric hot plate, electric heater, radiator, electric fan,
fridge, freezer and air conditioning appliances.
- Display equipment: including TV,
computer monitor and other equipment with cathode ray
tubes.
- Lighting: straight fluorescent tubes,
compact fluorescent lamps, high intensity discharge lamps, but
not normal household light bulbs (filament
lamps).
- All other small electrical
items.
What to do
You will need to place your items in the
special containers provided at Sully or Llandow recycling sites
that are clearly labeled; staff will be on hand to help - please
just ask.
