Reusing at home
Reusing at home
You can reuse many things in your home everyday:
Be creative with your storage solutions, consider reusing:
Plastic bags
Jam jars
Cardboard boxes
Think about friends and family who may be able to reuse:
Clothes/Shoes/Handbags, etc.
Furniture
Textbooks
Why not consider:
Using old sheets and towels as wiping rags
Turning old Birthday or Christmas cards into gift labels
CDs can scare birds effectively in the garden
Reuse polysterene white bedding plant trays, break them up and put them in the bottom of window boxes and hanging baskets.
Reuse an old tennis ball by cutting it in half and place your valuables in one when you are in the gym
Other things you can do:
As a parent look at real nappies
Wash your dusters out instead of buying a new one each time
Invest in rechargeable batteries
We throw away too much food here are some
handy recipe ideas
