Reusing in the community
You could take/sell your household goods to:
- Second-hand shops
- Charity stores
- Antique and furniture shops Car boot sales
Don't forget:
- Trade some items for new models (vacuums, white
goods, pcs & cars)
- Use websites like Freecycle,
Freegle, Don’t dump that and ebay
- Consider ‘free ads’
websites/papers and exchange unwanted items
Examples of renting
Instead of buying new, why not rent to reuse resources?
Gardening equipment: lawnmowers, ladders
and wheelbarrows
Household items:
TVs, DVD or Blu-ray players, washing machines, fridges and
computers
Party gear:
marquees, tables, chairs
Office equipment:
computers, telephones, desks and chairs
